CLASSIC rayon thread is made from regenerated cellulose, derived from wood pulp, giving it a silky, natural-looking sheen. Soft, flexible, and smooth-running, its filaments spread during stitching, providing superior coverage compared to polyester threads. Designed for a high-end, luxurious finish, Classic is especially well-suited for fashion applications and delicate fabrics.
It is also naturally anti-static, making it an ideal choice for industries where static control is essential.
OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 Class I certification means that Classic thread has been tested for harmful substances and is considered safe even for products intended for babies.
For added convenience, Madeira Classic thread colours are already preset in all major digitising programs.
N.B. Classic is not bleach-resistant. Prolonged exposure to bleach, chlorine, or UV light may cause fading over time.
