Component raw material declaration: Fibre

Natural cellulose wood pulp fibres from virgin origin (not recycled), TCF (Total Chlorine Free) certified FSC or PEFC. Cellulose wood pulp is a renewable and fully biodegradable material.

Viscose fibres certified FSC or PEFC. Viscose fibres are made from renewable resource (cellulose origin) and certified USDA Biobased 97%. The viscose fibres are also certified OK compost (EN13432)* as well as classified “readily biodegradable” according to OEDC 301B** (Aqueous aerobic biodegradation).

A bio-based binder from renewable resource (certified 100% bio-based), classified “readily biodegradable” according to OECD 301A***

(Aerobic biodegradability of Organic compounds), and also certified OK Compost Home (EN13432)****

*EN13432 requires the compostable fabric to disintegrate before 12 weeks and completely biodegrade begore 6 months. The means 90% or more of the material will have been converted to CO2.

**Biodegradation > 60% within 28 days of testing according to OECD 301B.

***Biodegradation >70% within 28 days or testing according to OECD 301A.

****EN13432 Home conditions requires the compostable fabric to disintegrate before 6 months and completely biodegrade before 12 months.
